    This problem wasn’t that hard, but on the actual test, I just added up the 9s and carried because I wasn’t thinking properly

    Do you plan to do questions from AIME, or Puntam that are very hard ? That would be very cool to see all the steps necessary to solve some of the hardest problems!

    When I got this problem on the test, I combined all of the 9’s in each place (321*9, 320*90, 319*900, etc.) and did the 4th grade adding method with carrying until I realized that it was just a bunch of 1’s.
    This is probably a better method.
