Crystal River is where I got my Scuba certificate. I LOVED swimming with all the fish and the Manatees. You could sit on the bottom and watch the bubbles come up from the bottom of the river. It sits on a thermal vent, that’s why the water is always warm and it’s basalt (not fresh not totally salt) I loved it there, totally worth the trip ❤️❤️❤️❤️

One time kayaking ( i dont know if i spelled that right) in michigan and found what looked to be a clam shell and i picked it up and it had a channel catfish in it. I think i named him shadow or dark but he was cool and we bought two other catfish at the store
