I have a soft spot for this film, having personally known Dr Miklos Rozsa, who composed and conducted the music for "The V.I.P.s". I believe that it was his last film at M-G-M, for whom he had worked for a long time.

While his soundtrack work is good, his other "serious" compositions were much better. His music is always full of color and vigor. He has several meaty chamber works, concertos and works for orchestra that are quite enjoyable. By the way, this is a very good movie.

I remember my Mam and Grandma taking me to see this movie when we were on holiday in Bridlington when I was 10 years old! and how we all loved the movie! I just watched it again after so very long and still a great movie to watch! and still loving it! Seems to mean more as the years go by!

If it wasn't for "Cleopatra" Liz and Richard would've never met, I bet.

Maggie Smith was never better than in "The V.I.P.s". Her scene with Richard Burton is a wonder to behold.

Obviously the narrator of this trailer has a thing for Margaret Rutherford.

An all-star cast, lavish locations [including a sleek-tech airport], creammy colors with soft tones... this film is a masterpiece of dazzling feelings, wow!
