15:00 I wish it could be Alabama. I was born and raised there.
Which sadly is part of why I know it won't be. :(

5:22 John should try some good slow roasted BBQ to truly appreciate the time it takes to make something that tastes magical instead of just boiling everything the British way, or since it's only 5 seconds... blanching them.

You mean privileges. We don't have actual rights. We have privileges. Something that can be taken away due to the whim of some figurehead pretending to be a leader, usually a religious idiot, are privileges.

We need an ambitious political party that says equal opportunity to hit it and sex is what everyone needs. Also less hate and everyone needs a chance especially abortion which is life begins with in u life is life no ways around it

  • That One Guy With The Face

I live in Oklahoma we won't be passing any equal rights anything here ANYTIME soon unfortunately... alot of people who have the influence to do so, are all sexist or racist or both.. mostly both. God's sake we were the last state to legalize tattooing if we were the last to do something as trivial as tattooing do you really think that we'd step up to the plate for something as important as equal rights? They are roughly In the same category just not the same genre. Only reason medical marijuana was passed here was because of the people getting enough signatures to actually get it on a ballot. That and pretty much everyone who isnt a politician smokes cannabis is Oklahoma lol

It's really sad that people treat shows like this as facts. The wage gap is debunked again and again and again. Your arguments suck. And if we proceed with your line of banning discrimination ...please explain how you can square being against separate but equal bathrooms in the Jim crow south and separate but equal bathrooms between men and women? I mean if you really take transgenderism seriously, instead of "letting them choose which bathroom to use" it makes a lot more sense to have unisex bathrooms.

    • Tylr
      Tylr 8 days ago

@Astro Wolvez wrong. You can go look at Obama's defense of his staff pay policy and how they defended the fallacious "same work same pay" myth as a perfect example of how to argue against it. Average decisions by women in the aggregate explain the difference. Less likely to take dangerous positions, more likely to take time off, more likely to use health benefits, less likely to take a position without benefits, more likely to leave the workforce for kids etc etc. Its a myth. The easiest proof is, if women are cheaper than men, why dont we see a 20%ish increased employment rate over men? Are businesses retarded now?

    • Astro Wolvez
      Astro Wolvez 8 days ago

We literally still have a wage gap and women have to fight to close it. Hell employers try to have their employees never talk about how much their payed so they don't discover how much they could be making.

    • Astro Wolvez
      Astro Wolvez 8 days ago

To be fair it's more so that they're ridiculed if they are abused and that even for women getting help is difficult because you can't have any belonging if you want to go to a safe house and usually can't have a job (my own mom tried to get help but couldn't). The entire system for abuse victims is a mess and we need to fix it.

There's no such thing as a wage gap. Women aren't asking for equality of opportunity, they're asking for equality of outcome.
That's why men will always be paid more in specialized fields.
