Life Aquatic is a piece of crap.
Life Aquatic has moments that just kill me...a couple of backstabbing colleagues in the explorers club running down Bill Murray's character who just stands behind them giving them this look...it just always makes me laugh out loud. His way of acquiring needed equipment is pretty funny as well. As is Bud Cort's small but surprising role.
Moon is a propaganda video to sell deception...
STOP FUCKING REDIRECTING ME TO FAILBOOK
I've always wanted to see moon but never got the chance I always thought it was really interesting even as young as I was
Life Aquatic has a deserving score. It's terrible. You forgot to mention that you have to want to watch it again for it to get good.
Kinda offended that you wouldn't include asian and indian movies. Which actually command the largest audience
How about Bronson? Fucking hell, how about Children of Men, arguably one of the best films ever made? Christ, even the assassination of jesse james which was completely overshadowed, or the australian masterpiece the proposition? or half nelson or lars and the real girl, both containing some of ryan goslings finest works? or zodiac? the 2000s were incredible for movies.
In Bruges and The Guard are utter masterpieces!!!! Love them both are amongst the first movies I show to my new girlfriends :)
Arlington Road (2000)
The fall, an amazing movie to watch, glad it made the list
In Bruges is such a great film.
The ones on this list that I've seen, I agree that they are good. Based on that, I'll check out the others.
You seem to be conflating rating with exposure, because all of the films on this list are hugely appreciated
valhala rising is the most boring film ever!!! dont watch it!!!
Where's Red Eye(2005)?
The Game with Michael Douglas. I was shocked how good this movie was considering I had never heard of it prior to watching it. GlenGarry Glen Ross is another mega sleeper. If you love good dialogue, then you'll love it.
Thanks... Depends - underrated by critics or by people.
Kingdom of Heaven (Directors Cut), hidden from audiences this version of the movie was far superior and imo a classic.
Never Let Me Go. Masterpiece
Ok, if The Fall is so good it makes you want to shove cake into your eyes, I must see it.
The background music was the most annoying thing I've ever heard!
OMG YES THE FOUNTAIN
Another tid-bit about Moon, it was written and directed by David Bowie's son.
Blasphemy. Repent of your sins.
You people are horrible at research. Moon was universally praised and almost everyone that is into Sci-Fi saw it. Underrated =! Under performing financially. And Moon did really well financially for what it was.
So according to WhatCulture, a women playing Bob Dillon is the most recognisable. These twats are embarrassing.
*Moon* is a homage to a specific 1960 novella, "Rogue Moon" by Algis Budrys. If you like that era SF you need to read it, though it might feel ponderous to today's fan. It is a very cinematic tale - I could "watch" it in all its 60s glory as I read it. *Moon* has Sam Rockwell, which is an advantage, but "Rogue Moon" explores the morality more.
"In Bruges" is brilliant.
How about Dredd ?
in Bruges is a good one
In bruges is the only one worth seeing!!
Moon was booooring! I'm SciFi fan, but...
Absolutely hated the life aquatic
Half the films on this list are my all time faves! Will definitely check out the others......but I'd also add Sunshine to your list.
What horse sh*t. “The fountain” was beautifully shot, but the story was crap. You can’t enjoy the beautiful shots, because you’re to distracted by trying to follow the story which makes no sense. You’re better off watching a documentary on discovery channel
The Island Very Underrated.
Start at 0:46 to skip all the kitchy self promotion
Valhalla rising was fucking aweful. A waste of a fiver from asda.
i watched vahalla rising , overall good movie , but was a bit slow
The music in the back overpowers the video :(
I really liked RockNRolla, I think it has better acting than both Lock Stock and Snatch (though its tough to rival Brad Pitt from that) and had all the same ludicrous story lines converging to a gigantic cluster f that you expect from Guy Richie.
tone down your background music...
PSYTRANCE in the backround = fuckye
Rust and Bone
underrated movies that are in IMDB top 250.are you sure you know what "underrated" means?an underrated movie suggestion: mr.brooks
The Fall is my favorite of all time
Ugh. The animation in Life Aquatic wasn’t cgi, for crying out loud. It was stop motion. By Henry Selick, contemporary master of the medium. Jeez.
Saw The Grey in theatres and thought it was great.
-Life Aquatic is one of my favorite movies... I would watch from whatever scene it would be.-Mary and Max is a very emotional animation. Intense and simple.-I had a hard time to understand The Fountain. But really like. I don't know why, honestly. The others I didn't had the chance to watch yet. But they are now on my list.
I really don't get the loud techno background music, I made me stop watching even the video it self is really interesting
The Grey was so depressing
Moon was actually good!
"The Road," 2009, Pan's Labyrinth," 2005, "Cloud Atlas," 2013.
Cloud Atlas is one of the most underrated movies of the last 20 years
the moon and the fountain are indeed very great
I finished Halt and Catch Fire TV series on AMC and Lee Pace starred in it and I googled his films and came.upon this video.
Duncan Jones' MOON = brilliant, MUTE = atrocious movie.
Vahalla Rising was utter crap. It never went anywhere.
These movies are all pretentious crap.
I love the life aquatic... Never gets boring
Missed - Equilibrium
Seen all except Fountain. Tried Fountain but failed.
The Fall is amazing!!!
In Bruge is FREAKING AWESOME
Recently watched the The Fall after too long putting it off for some reason. Such a splendid treat. It wasn’t what I was expecting judging from the poster art and film stills. Highly recommended.
More like the 10 most boring films of 2000's
Sunshine for me
A m0vie ab0ut B0B DYLAN, played by SIX PE0PLE..1 0f Them A LittleBlackB0y, And THE M0ST Rec0gnizable versi0n t0 pe0ple was played by a W0man?? And y0u w0nder why this is 0n this list?😂😂😂😂 This is just as bad as when GLEN CL0SE played a guy😂😂😂😂
Sadly I've not heard of about half of these... but I kinda stopped watching TV during the 2000s so I guess I missed the trailers.
In Bruges was HUGE!!! What qualifies as "underrated", because in my books, an Oscar nomination, Golden Globe win and many other awards don't place a movie in an underrated category. The Fountain, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful movies ever made :)
Altered Assholes definitely should have made the list.
In Bruges is my favorite movie. Even made me travel to f#?#?& Bruges !!
i watched moon with my dad one time, its ten ties better than most SF crap nowadays
The grey is a excellent movie
I agree with most of this list but Valhalla rising is a terrible film
Valhalla Rising was a great movie.
So we're not gonna talk about a women playing Bob Dylan? No wonder people doesnt watch that shit.... I mean fs she doesnt even look just a bit like a man. Its a women with a wig.. smh... Whats next? A movie about princess Diana played by Jason Momoa with a fucking wig?
Can't believe you missed Vanilla Sky
I'm not sure how you can compile this list and miss out The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, and The Proposition. Both are outstanding and criminally underrated.
What, no one per list?
The Hunter (w/ Willem Dafoe) fits this list imo. Lots of good movies on there and a few I haven’t seen.
Really would LOVE to know just WHAT movie Mark Kermode was ranting about during the intro!! Love Kermode rants!
The Fall.. absolutely brilliant!💗
Who scored this video, and where does he/she buy their ecstacy?
Deff gonna check out the rest of this list. I've already seen Moon, The Fountain, In Bruges (the grey maybe), The Fall. And I all liked them and thought they were special. So The rest on here is probably in that league.Heared about Life Aquatic a lot. Cheers!
The Road (2009) with Viggo Mortensen should be at the top. Besides, it's not really far from what the next generation will have to endure with the environmental degradation baby boomers and an assorted group of idiots want to sweep under the rug
The hunt 2013, Ink 2009,127 hours, the road 2009 and Blue ruin 2014 are all underrated imo
Lost me at , The life Aquatic , I couldn't even make it through that movie , Horrible , Valhalla Rising , O totally Like , It was Brutal but A very Quite Film and Intriguing , With little spoken word , Not my typical film but Definitely Enjoyed it . In Bruge was Decent , I'm gonna watch "The Guard " because it looks like a Light Enjoyable watch and The Fall , I'll check out because it looks Visually interesting
Valhalla Rising was fucking terrible... boring as all hell.
Vallhalla rising is fucked up and pointless.
Omg yes!!! The Fall was such a underrated masterpiece of a film.
Mary and Max... my heart...
Moon! Bravo! Very very overrated. This was Oscar worthy
Actually a list I agree with! 70% (did not see three of them, like 'The Fall', but 'In Bruges' is one of my favourite films and I saw 'The Fountain' two days in a row!
