we need more dev diary on the soundtrack! how was it constructed, what instruments were used? Is the choir real? What are the key harmonics used? What's the meaning and importance of the 'glockenspiel' used? Many questions unanswered for fans!

Truly some of the most beautiful music ever composed for a game. Anno has always occupied that space. Remarkable. It gives me goosebumps.

The music in this game catches my ear every few minutes or so. I love classical and orchestral music, so I wish I could carry the soundtrack of this game around with me!

I've always been a huge fan of the music in the Anno games, and Anno 1800 is beautiful too. What I really like about this soundtrack is how the songs fade out when you won a battle/leave the exploration menu etc. really fuses the game and the music even more together

News will be when you stop it from being an epic store only game.

@Digital Death No the Epic store isn't required to play the game. For example I preordered it in the Uplay Store and I didn't have to use the Epic Store, because the DRM is ensured by Uplay. But the other way around, if you buy it on Epic or Steam you still have to start Uplay as well because it is a Ubisoft Game.

      Digital Death 5 months ago

@Cesar The Salad But will still require epic to launch as part of it's DRM.

They're also selling it on the Ubisoft store, so it's not an Epic exclusive.
