  • This is my intermediate level arrangement of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", arranged for zither or lap harp. I have transcribed the sheet music for this arrangement and have published the sheet music at Sheet Music Plus. Here is the link for the sheet music: www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/hallelujah-by-leonard-cohen-arranged-for-zither-lap-harp-by-debbie-center-digital-sheet-music/20368150?ac=1

I really like that you've transcribed this for zither. I had a lap harp when I was a kid and loved playing it, but it was destroyed by my little nephew when I went away to college. I've just ordered a new one and it should arrive this week. After I've practiced a while with the simple music that comes with it, I'm definitely going to buy some of your music. I would love to find an arrangement for the song Mad World for zither as well. This is awesome. I like the folk and classical music you can get, but am so excited to find modern music to play as well.

One more question...............I bought it but I cannot figure out how you get to print actual size. I cannot find that option with my printer.

Hi, Sally! I'm so sorry I didn't see your comments until just now, and I'm so glad you got it figured out. Thanks so much for buying my sheet music. Let me know how it works out for you!

I tried enlarging it but I cannot get it the right size to line up so we can play it.

Did you just clip a microphone on it?

Hi, Sally! I have an electric pickup for it. It just sticks to the wood with putty, and is attached to a cable which goes into my amp. The pickup is made by Dean Markley.
