You get every review spot on! I have the same skin as you and decided to start using some of your ‘go to products’ and the results are amazing! My skin is feeling, and I think, looking the best in a long time. I’m now using CeraVe eye and face moisturiser, Elf primer, Lancôme concealer for under my eyes and the amazing Byebye pores powder to set the under eye area. Wow....I’m impressed. I would recommend all these products to everyone. No more crepey under eye area and bags and wrinkles minimised. Leaving the moisturiser on to really absorb prior to make up is a fantastic tip which really does make a difference. Thank you and keep the advice coming!!

Angie, you HAVE GOT TO TRY Hado Labo skin plumping gel. I'm 74 with heavily sun damaged, deeply wrinkled skin so if it's a moisturizer/hydrator or a plumping cream I've tried it and while most do a decent job, the effect disappears within half an hour.....until I tried this one. OMG....4 hours later I STILL didn't really need it but I used it again anyway because it feels so gorgeous on my skin. It should be applied to wet/damp skin and just let it soak in and dry. You don't have to worry about how it feels at first. Within10 minutes it's dry and soft and can be reapplied to wet skin as often as you like....and I like...alot.

Could do a review on the Lancome Absolue precious cells night cream ? Heard it's really good for anti aging.

  • Ann Star
    Ann Star 15 days ago

Anti-aging ingredients are better absorbed from serums rather than moisturizers. Moisturizers contain very little of those ingredients and they don't get absorbed as well. Moisturizers are used primarily for hydration while serums are formulated to penetrate more deeply into the skin because they have smaller particles.

HELP! At 66, I'm eager to (like you) stop or reverse my skin's aging. Just purchased TNS ESSENTIAL SERUM but need your advice on what to use in what order. Can't afford to buy any new Skinmedica this month, except possibly HA5. Been getting microdermabrasion & galvanic pulse which boosts, plumps my skin & radiance, also using my aestheticisn's 20% Vitamin C serum with Folic acid, Hyluronic acid & Vitamin E followed by Neutrogena's Hydroboost Water Gel. Need more help which is why purchased Skin Medica TNS Serum, inspired by your videos. I have very Sensitive, porcelain skin. Rarely wear Makeup, But always use sunscreen because I live in central Florida. I start with olay luminous brightening Cream cleanser, Then the serum and Moisturizer then sunscreen. Should I use The Skin Medica Serum before or after my Vitamin C serum? Would you recommend the HA5 to replace the Neutrogena, As I need To boost the moisturizer. Thank you.

Hi Angie, I was wondering if you already have a one or could make a printable document that is a basic guide to what are the key ingredients you should look for in... ie a moisturiser. The reason I ask for a ‘key’ ingredients list is for those of us in other countries we can’t always get the same products that you can or they have a huge import charge. Your videos are amazing but sometimes I need something I can check when I’m buying a product to see if it has the good stuff we need in it.
I have learnt so much from your videos! Which I am so thankful for. ❤️

Hi Angie. Do you know of a ceremide that is non animal derived?

  • OxanaCrafts
    OxanaCrafts Month ago

An easy way to work in Sodium PCA(one of my fave ingredients for my dry skin), if you happen to not have enough in your products, is using a mist or spray. You can add it under moisturizer. There are quite a few of them out there. One example is Mad Hippie Hydrating Nutrient Mist, which also contains things like sodium hyaluronate and reservatrol.

  • OxanaCrafts
    OxanaCrafts Month ago

Another ceramide cream I found for those looking to avoid parabens is Ceramedx, it also contains the Sodium PCA and sodium hyaluronate

Hi Angie, you know so much on skin care! I am a bit uncertain if I’m using a good night cream or not. Mine is quite expensive and I like the feel of it but now am checking ingredients to make sure it’s actually good for me. Is it okay it looks to have silicones and alcohol or should I edit this out for a different cream going forward.
    This is the list: ingredients
Water/Aqua/Eau, Cyclopentasiloxane, Methylheptyl Isostearate, Butylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Cetyl Alcohol, Isohexadecane, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Cetyl Caprylate, Rubus Idaeus Seed Oil, Vaccinum Macrocarpon Seed Oil, Vigna Aconitifolia Seed Extract, Strelitzia Nicolai Seed Aril Extract, Oligopeptide-34, Lactobacillus/Pumpkin Fruit Ferment Filtrate, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Niacinamide, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil, Tocopherol, Beta Sitosterol, Zinc Glycinate, Decyl Glucoside, Polysilicone-11, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Hydrogenated Phosphatidylcholine, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethiconol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Aminomethyl Propanol, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol.

I’m going green with my moisturizers and hair care. I’ve been using apps like EWC and Think Dirty. It makes me sad that our beloved CeraVe is rated so badly because of the parabens. I think 2019 is going to be all about “clean” skin/hair/makeup. I would LOVE if you started testing out clean/green products. I value your opinions so much on these subjects but want to take it to the next level.

I usually use the Cerve PM. I have alot of old acne spots and my skin looks dull most of the time. I got a sample of Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream and it has done wonders for my skin. Any clue what in it might be helping and another cheaper option. I love it enough to pay the price for it, but why, if there is something that will work just as well.

Hi Angie, wondering if you still like the Tao cleaning brush? How often do you change the brush? I have been using the clarisonic for a long while and thinking about changing. On the clarisonic I use the soft brush so afraid Tao brush might be to harsh because they don't have different brushes. Thank you

    • HotandFlashy
      HotandFlashy  2 months ago

Hi Chris~ I do still like the Tao brush but if you're using the soft brush on the Clarisonic, then the Tao brush will be harsher on your skin. It's pretty soft but not as soft as the one you're using and since it spins instead of pulsing you might not like it... They are having a great Black friday sale on the Tao brushes now though... it's under $50 so might be worth checking out. ~xo ~angie

Oh, bummer! Lanolin allergies are fairly common, you can look for petrolatum, mineral oil, or silicone instead of lanolin. For vitamin c, you could try other antioxidants like vitamin e, ferulic acid, CoQ10, Niacinamide, green tea, resveratrol or a combo of a few!
