John Blyler is a media and technology expert. He was formerly the chief content officer at Extension Media with editorial and sponsorship responsibilities for Chip Design, RF-Microwave, and Embedded Intel magazines - to name a few. He was the consulting editor for a joint venture with Sperling Media, i.e., the System-Level Design portal. John was the former senior editor for Penton's Wireless Systems Design magazine and, before that, the IEEE I&M magazine. He has co-authored several books on systems engineering, RF and automotive hardware-software technologies for Wiley, Elsevier, IEEE and SAE. John has over 23 years of systems engineering hardware-software experience in the electronics industry. He remains an affiliate professor in Systems Engineering at Portland State University. Mr. Blyler holds a BS in Engineering Physics from Oregon State University, as well as a MSEE from California State University, Northridge.
