    yeah but I still don't get how he is building muscles which requieres a caloric surplus without adding the fat as a side effect. It's not explained. Even if he just maintains his built muscles there had to be a point in time when he was in a caloric surplus to build them in the first place and should have gotten fatter.

    Hey Jeff, been doing dumbell curls with the full range of motion since the very start but I'm still developing that gap with the bisceps and forearms. Any idea what it is I'm doing wrong? I do full range of motion with high intensity. Full range every rep. It's become a habit since that's how Ive done it from the very start. Controlled going all the way down as straight an my elbows allow never letting off the control then all the way up to my shoulders without moving my bisceps/ shoulders at all, Only bending elbows. Any ideas?

    Broad question but how do you incorporate both types of training? In terms of your body as a whole, is it 1 month heavy the next light? 2 weeks each? or do you go back and forth or every other workout or possibly do both within a single workout?     The way i been squatting for last two years is my warm up sets building up to my real sets then i do a percentage of my max that increases with each set but I really wanna try what jeff is saying by starting out heavier and increasing reps as u go on but i just dont trust my self to not get hurt
