JFC, the Burning Sun scandal was perpetrated by individuals & is not a symptom of "Kpop". Sure, there are a lot of things that need to be improved but after living 20+ years each both in the U.S. and in South Korea, I can say the Korean entertainment industry is much, much quicker to self-scout & self-improve -- much more so than the American counterparts. It is "reporting" like this that is fundamentally biased and views Kpop as something "other" and "foreign", a familiar trope that's repeated over & over again from Western media. Go f-off VICE.
